"All As One" was originally written and performed on Long Island NY at a
church service and a local
coffee house by Frank Imburgio, a
software developer. Mr. Imburgio worked in the World Trade Center for 6 years,
and survived the 1993 bombing. The song was written in 2004, shortly after the
US had invaded Iraq.
In
2007, with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq still raging, and talk of a new one
in Iran, Mr. Imburgio decided to see if he could 'change the world' from his
little corner of Long Island by sharing his song.
Using the 'Open Source' idea, he decided to release the rights to the song to
any and all who wanted to perform or play it. He produced a
simple video
for Youtube and added a page
to myspace..
And he waited for the world to notice.
